Detailed Product Description

Boron carbide, with black crystal powder form, is one of the hardest man-made materials. It has MOHS hardness of 9.36 and microscopic hardness 5,400 - 6,300kg/mm2, which is next to diamond. Its density is 2.52g/cbm and the melting point is 2,450oC.

The boron carbide is with high and low temperature resistance, and high grinding
efficiency, without reactions to either acid or alkalis. It's not magnetic, and is a
good substitute for diamond.
 
Boron carbide is of light weight, with neutron absorbing function and semi-
conductivity so that it is used in the military and nuclear industries in addition to
boride refractory, ion transfusion, and film layer usage.

Furthermore, it can be used for grinding, polishing, and drilling hard metal alloys
and jewels. It is the main material for wear-resistant parts, precise meter elements,
precise spray nozzles, sealed washer smelting boron steel and boron alloys.
